Supporting one of Canada’s first clean hydrogen tax credit claims
EverWind’s Point Tupper project is expected to become Canada’s first green hydrogen/ammonia project to meet the rigorous standard required for the Clean Hydrogen Investment Tax Credit (CH ITC). Using carbon intensity modelling, validated a 99% emissions reduction compared to fossil-fuel based hydrogen, qualifying EverWind for the highest tier of the CH ITC – 40% of eligible capital expenditures. This milestone supports EverWind’s leadership in clean energy and advances Canada’s path to a Net Zero future.
