Acoustical adaptations to help a nonprofit music school be a good neighbour

Acoustical adaptations to help a nonprofit music school be a good neighbour

The Sarah McLachlan School of Music in Vancouver provides free music instruction to youth who might otherwise lack access to arts education. RWDI provided acoustic consulting to enhance sound isolation within the school’s 16,000-square-foot facility, which includes rehearsal studios and a central performance space. Through careful measurement and cost-effective design strategies, we helped improve noise control between studios and ensure harmonious relations with neighbouring spaces.
