Supporting the development of a major industrial facility with air quality and noise impact assessments
Located in Alberta’s Industrial Heartland, a hub for oil, gas, and petrochemical production, this new petrochemical facility is designed to convert propane into polypropylene, a versatile plastic used in everyday products. With its large production scale and proximity to other industrial sites, the project required careful planning to meet regional environmental standards. To support permitting and regulatory approvals, RWDI delivered comprehensive air quality and noise impact assessments. These studies helped ensure the facility could operate within strict environmental limits while contributing to the growth of Alberta’s advanced manufacturing sector.
