Ensuring comfort while driving sustainable, cost-effective design
One Bangkok is a landmark development in the capital of Thailand featuring 10 distinct buildings, including a 430m signature tower, set atop interconnected podiums that surround a central civic plaza. The mixed-use project includes hotels, retail and office spaces, residences, a cultural centre, and generous green space. To ensure structural safety and pedestrian comfort within Bangkok’s wind climate, RWDI conducted wind tunnel testing and climate analysis. These insights helped the design team refine the layout and reduce material use, supporting a more sustainable and cost-effective development.
