A wind/environmental engineer and microclimate specialist, Michael was instrumental in pioneering turf microclimate engineering for sports facilities, developing the foundational methodology over 30 years ago and presenting it in a landmark paper that helped establish the discipline. Since then, RWDI has successfully delivered turf microclimate studies for stadia around the world, helping clients understand and optimize the relationship between stadium design and playing surface conditions.
