As Chief Operating Officer of RWDI, Mark Vanderheyden oversees companywide operations, ensuring the seamless integration of strategic initiatives into daily processes. With a focus on advancing RWDI’s expertise in climate and performance engineering, he drives operational excellence and innovation across the firm.

Since joining RWDI in 1989, Mark has taken on key technical and leadership roles, contributing to some of the industry’s most iconic projects. A recognized expert in air quality, he specializes in risk management, regulatory permitting, odor assessment, and dispersion modeling. His leadership and deep technical knowledge continue to strengthen RWDI’s reputation as a global leader in environmental and engineering solutions.

As Chief Strategy Officer, Theresa defines and implements RWDI’s strategic vision with a focus on long-term, profitable growth. A member of the c-suite, she contributes to the execution of the firm’s strategic plan and drives initiatives that expand RWDI’s reach through new and existing business relationships across sectors.

Since joining the firm in 2018, Theresa has brought a multidisciplinary lens shaped by experience in consulting, manufacturing engineering, product development, marketing, and business development. Her leadership in infrastructure, technology, and finance helps position RWDI for sustained impact and innovation on a global scale.

As Chief Financial Officer, Rob provides strategic financial leadership across RWDI’s global operations. He oversees financial reporting and corporate operations while playing a key role in shaping the firm’s strategic direction and ensuring adaptability in an evolving marketplace. With 20 years of progressive experience, including over a decade at RWDI, Rob is a trusted advisor within the leadership team. His expertise in financial analysis and business strategy provides the data-driven insights that support RWDI’s continued growth and success.

As Vice President of RWDI’s European operations, Ender is a leading environmental and climate consultant, providing expert guidance to clients across the UK and Europe. With diverse experience across a range of projects, he helps RWDI’s clients develop cost-effective and holistic solutions to complex environmental challenges while preserving the integrity of architectural and engineering designs. Beyond commercial projects, Ender collaborates with researchers and planning departments to advance climate-resilient city design. His expertise supports RWDI’s commitment to innovation and sustainability in the built environment.

Sonia is Vice President, Americas at RWDI, where she oversees operations and sales across the region and is focused on expanding the firm’s market share in key sectors. Since joining RWDI in 2002, she has built a career rooted in deep technical knowledge and strong client relationships, evolving into a key leader with a clear vision for growth. Her work is driven by a commitment to operational excellence, strategic development, and delivering high-value solutions across the built environment.

As Regional Vice President, Sudeesh leads RWDI’s operations across Asia and oversees our offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, China, Hong Kong, and India. He is responsible for driving growth in the region, overseeing project delivery, and managing regional teams. His leadership ensures that our clients across the region receive high-quality service that reflects local challenges. A seasoned wind engineering consultant, Sudeesh collaborates with architects, engineers, and developers to deliver climate-responsive, cost-effective designs. With project experience spanning North America, the UK, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia, he brings a global perspective and deep technical expertise to every engagement, helping clients navigate complex challenges and achieve their design goals.

As Vice President of Industry at RWDI, Brad Bergeron leads efforts to help clients tackle complex air quality and meteorology challenges. With nearly two decades at RWDI, he has played a key role in advancing air quality monitoring, regulatory compliance, and environmental assessments across various industries. Brad’s expertise includes air quality testing, meteorological analysis, noise assessments, and regulatory reporting. Whether overseeing source testing, equipment calibration, or predictive modeling, he delivers strategic solutions that support compliance and long-term environmental management. 

Effective environmental strategies balance regulatory requirements with real-world operations, so our clients can stay compliant, confident, and focused on what they do best.

Mark Chatten is a seasoned leader with decades of experience at RWDI. As Vice President, Strategic Initiatives, he supports RWDI’s growth and oversees all merger, acquisition, or divestiture strategy and activity for the organization. He collaborates closely with the executive, finance, and legal teams to ensure that our potential M&A’s align with the company’s long-term growth plan.

Mark also drives RWDI’s Corporate Responsibility efforts, ensuring the company operates ethically, sustainably and in alignment with our social and environmental commitments.

Aimée is RWDI’s Director, Technical Excellence responsible for upholding the highest standards of engineering, science, and technology across the organization. Since joining the firm in 2000, she has played a key role in shaping technical excellence and service quality across all disciplines. Working closely with the executive team, Aimée helps develop innovative solutions that meet evolving client needs and support RWDI’s long-term growth. She is also a recognized leader in the higher education, laboratory, and healthcare sectors, known for her expertise in exhaust dispersion, air intake systems, and microclimate factors such as air quality, ventilation, acoustics, and wind behavior.

As RWDI’s Director, Sales & Consulting, Derek Kelly plays a key role in shaping how the company engages with clients and delivers high-value, holistic solutions. With extensive project management and technical consulting experience working on many iconic building and infrastructure projects, Derek leads the evolution of RWDI’s sales strategies and consulting practices by refining how the organization supports clients, delivers tailored solutions, and drives business. While still involved in project work, his primary focus is on mentoring consulting teams, enhancing client engagement, and ensuring RWDI’s services are aligned with evolving industry needs.

As Director, Project Management at RWDI, Greg Conley leads the development of systems, tools, and processes that empower our project managers to deliver high-quality projects with consistency and confidence. With more than 20 years of experience in technical consulting and project leadership, Greg now focuses on strengthening RWDI’s project management capabilities across our global operations. He works closely with practice leaders and project teams to enhance delivery standards and improve operational efficiency. Greg’s leadership ensures that RWDI’s project delivery is scalable, adaptable, and aligned with both client expectations and business goals.
