55 and 70 Gracechurch Street

Two sustainable towers engineered for comfort in the heart of London

Two sustainable towers engineered for comfort in the heart of London

Planned for the heart of London’s Square Mile, the towers at 55 and 70 Gracechurch Street will rise 30 and 33 storeys, enhancing the cityscape with an elevated public terrace, expanded ground-level public space, and new pedestrian routes. These features support the City of London’s goals for walkability and urban livability. Designed to foster a welcoming experience for pedestrians, the developments required careful planning to ensure wind conditions would not compromise safety or comfort. The design process incorporated advanced modeling and wind assessments to optimize the microclimate, helping ensure that the public areas remain usable and enjoyable throughout the year.
