Valerie leads two interconnected teams that help to set RWDI apart. In her role as lead of Climate Analysis Services, she ensures that our wind loading and other engineering teams have the climate models, data and statistics they need for their analysis. She achieves this by leading a team of engineers and scientists who use historical meteorological records, mesoscale weather model outputs and Monte Carlo simulations to develop high-quality climatic datasets and statistical models. On our Software Development team, Valerie provides leadership to the development experts who build the software tools that enable RWDI to create sophisticated and highly customized engineering solutions to complex building and environmental challenges. During her more than 20 years with us, Valerie has contributed to the innovative tools and analyses behind some of the world’s most impressive structures.
