Monika brings over 38 years of diverse environmental consulting and industrial experience to her current role with RWDI. In addition to extensive technical capabilities, Monika is known for her productive engagement with industry working groups and her ability to build strong collaborative relationships across mining companies, regulatory agencies and Indigenous communities. Her current role focuses on driving RWDI’s growth strategy in global mining markets, and providing leadership and support on our existing projects in the mining and industrial sectors. Before joining RWDI, Monika worked as an Environment Superintendent for Vale (formerly Inco) in Sudbury. Her 14-year tenure involved negotiating and maintaining air and noise permits for 10 discrete facilities, diverse noise and air quality monitoring initiatives, and community engagement. Her earlier consulting experience encompassed expert witness testimony, regulatory reporting, and a range of monitoring and testing work for industrial sector clients.
