A noise and vibration specialist, Matthew has more than 25 years’ experience in the assessment of noise and vibration from demolition, construction, industrial, railway and road sources. He is well versed in project management and the delivery of noise and vibration environmental chapters on multiple projects. Matthew has extensive project management experience in the management and monitoring of demolition and construction sites, including the development of section 61 consent applications, noise, vibration and dust management plans, and construction environmental management plans. He has provided expert witness services relating to industrial, commercial, waste treatment and transfer, and animal noise sources. Matthew has also provided proofs of evidence on proposed developments and has spoken at planning committees on behalf of clients. He has provided independent expert advice to local authorities on the impact of industrial noise sources on sensitive receptors. Matthew has experience in industrial noise control, from the initial identification of the sources of noise, designing solutions and overseeing the practical implementation of the mitigation.
