Dr. Robe is RWDI's strategic director for the industry sector responsible for business strategy and international market expansion. Her current role focuses on driving RWDI's growth strategy and providing leadership and support to initiatives in the energy and industrial sectors while ensuring continued emphasis on technical excellence and innovation. Current strategic focus is on renewable energy, climate change, and netZero offerings worldwide.
Francoise continues to provide leadership and technical expertise to challenging air quality projects, including quantification of fugitive methane emissions via inverse dispersion modelling (IDM) for the oil, gas, and mining sectors. She is an accomplished professional and respected unbiased expert in the field of meteorology and atmospheric dispersion modeling, with over 25 years’ experience on six continents.
She has led numerous meteorological and air quality studies, environmental impact assessments, and multi-disciplinary environment-health-safety projects worldwide for upstream, midstream and downstream oil & gas projects, power plants, renewable energy, smelters, mines, manufacturing, forestry, and agricultural industry, as well as climate change impact studies for urban and industrial clients.
Dr. Robe has pioneered the development of operational management systems integrating 24/7 weather and air quality modeled forecasts. She is a co-author of the CALMET-CALPUFF modeling suite and has taught over 30 CALPUFF and air dispersion modeling courses for regulatory agencies, universities, consultants, and industry around the world.
