Building performance benchmarking and disclosure programs are rolling out across Ontario and Canada ushering in a new era of transparency. This trend will create both a tremendous resource in data and challenges as properties begin to participate in these new programs. The CaGBC Greater Toronto Chapter's first Green Building Breakfast session of the year will provide some major updates on benchmarking and disclosure programs, and showcase new tools for the real estate and design community. Topics will include:
- Ontario's mandatory Energy and Water Reporting and Benchmarking policy
- Voluntary disclosure from the west coast
- New tools in benchmarking
RWDI's Sustainability Consultants Chris Frankowski and Jennifer Harmer will be discussing New Tools in Benchmarking that include EnergyCompass.design, Standard Energy Efficiency Data Platform (SEED), and the 2030 Platform.
This is a breakfast seminar hosted by the Greater Toronto Chapter of the Canada Green Building Council.
